Seven Weeks to Go
Only seven more weeks (approximately) until we get to meet our Miss Muffet! The time is sure to fly by because of all of the extra midwife appointments, Bradley classes, and craziness at work. Since I’ve decided not to go back after the baby comes (big, scary, exciting decision!), it’s even more important that I try to do a thorough job of training everyone on how to take over my responsibilites. You know how hectic it always is in the weeks leading up to a big vacation, it’s like that only ten times more. But hey, the reward will be way better than a regular old vacation, right?
Today was the momentous Putting Together the Baby’s Bed Day. Even though the co-sleeper looks simpler than a traditional crib, it still took a fair amount of puzzling over the instruction manual and trial and error. But, ta-da! The baby now has a place to sleep.

Right after this picture, I scattered pregnancy and baby books all over the mattress in an attempt to discourage the cats from claiming it as their newest napping spot.
Other than that, I’ve been knitting and sewing little things here and there. My favorite recent projects are these cute little wool shorties to use as diaper covers (Little Turtle Knits Picky Pants pattern).

You are so busy! I hate to see it when you really start nesting, lol. Everything looks great!
