A sweater for Miss Muffet
Here’s the latest addition to our little miss muffet’s wardrobe…

Yes, we found out that we have a girl coming in August! The ultrasound was just amazing. She was very, very wiggly which made us laugh. The tech thought she was a girl right away and seemed to become more and more convinced the longer we looked. We’re so excited!
This is my favorite baby sweater pattern from the Debbie Bliss book, Baby Knits. (I think this is the fifth time I’ve made it by now?) I like that the body is knit all in one piece, and I like the classic shape of it. This one was done in KnitPicks Shine, which has become my new favorite yarn. I may never go back to mercerized cotton after enjoying how soft and smooth this is! I like this sport weight for knitting baby things, but I’m excited to see that they’re now offering it in worsted weight also.

Yay! It’s a girl. Everyone will tell you girls are much more fun to dress. I think so. I wasn’t into all the cute little pink things three or four months ago, but it has a way of becoming infectious. Look out!

I have some of the Shine worsted, if you wanna come see it
I also have some of the regular shine if you want some more.
I love the sweater–very, very cute.
Can’t wait to meet Miss Muffet!
