What I’m Up To
Since I’ve been spending so much time lately NOT blogging, you must be thinking that I’ve been busy being productive in some other area of life. You would be wrong. Life is prettty much puttering along as usual around here.
My current knitting projects are
1. Stalling some more before again attempting the turtleneck on Kate’s “Stevie” sweater.
2. Beginning a Peace Fleece Everyday Cardigan for me. (1 sleeve and 1 front panel completed)
3. Baby hat and bootees for one of the many new babies soon to be entering the world
4. Baby pullover from Simple Knits for Cherished Babies (on loan from the library)… perhaps for my own “someday baby”?
I’m thoroughly enjoying the calm that follows the Christmas crafting frenzy. I’m just knitting a row of this, a few rows of that, with little care as to when any of these projects are finished. Ahhh…
Wednesday evening I have a date with my sister-in-law to get her started knitting. How excited am I?! It’s been a wish of mine that a family member would take up knitting so that I can have someone to blab about knitting with at family gatherings. So, send your good knitting vibes our way this week, please!
