Snuffzilla
Here’s the completed Snuffy!

He doesn’t quite look like his illustration, but I think he turned out quite cute. And huge! WOOF — it’s Snuffzilla!! I saw this coming soon after I started knitting, but it still cracks me up how humongous this doggy is compared to Miffy. I originally intended him to fit into the pocket of a naptime pillow, but… I think he’ll just stand on his own now.
As I mentioned earlier, this is the stuffed dog pattern from the Lucinda Guy book: Handknits for Kids. I used Merino Style yarn from KnitPicks. You know, I really love working with that yarn. It’s so soft, the colors are nice, and the price is wonderful… but it seems to me that the yarn that used to come in the more compact, tightly wound skeins is softer than the yarn I’ve been getting from them lately (in looser egg-shaped skeins). Anyone else notice this, or am I imagining it?
Thanks, Jeni for donating some more yarn so that I could finish the ears!
