One Sleeve to Go
I’m entering the home stretch with the Lace Trim Bolero from the Vogue Knitting spring 2005 issue. It’s a good thing because (a) I want to be able to wear it on our cruise next month, (b) I’ve heard that the new Interweave Knits summer issue will be hitting my mailbox any day now. The past two knitting magazine arrivals have caused me to abandon my works in progress and start something new — so I’m hoping to get at least one thing finished before being lured away again!
So far, back, fronts, and one sleeve are done — one more sleeve plus the rest of the trim left to go.

This has been a pleasantly quick project, and it seems to be working out quite well with the Elann Endless Summer Sonata cotton yarn that I’m using in place of the silk Fiesta La Luz that the pattern called for. My version is maybe a bit more casual — less gleaming and delicate — than the original, but that suits me just fine.

Wow! This is looking mighty lovely! The trim is beautiful. Can’t wait to see it finished.
