Look kids, she still knows how to knit! It’s been a while since I’ve posted any knitting content . . . and much longer since I’ve posted a completed project.

This is the cardigan from the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits book. I’ve made this pattern once before (love it!), but this time I even used the recommended yarn Cotton/Silk Aran. I’m not sure, but I think maybe that line has been discontinued. I love the royal blue color which would be adorable on a boy or a girl. It’s destined to go to one of the many new babies coming later this fall and winter.

My favorite thing about this project, though, are the buttons. I’m a bit addicted to Peace Fleece Buttons — specifically, the “seconds” that they occasionally offer at a discount. The fact that these kitties are all a little bit lop-sided only adds to their charm, as far as I’m concerned!
