My very first spinning attempts!

Here’s the merino roving I bought on ebay:

And here it is on my homemade drop spindle (a la Knitty Gritty):

Of course, I couldn’t wait to see what it would be like to knit with it:

I’m completely awkward with this process right now, but it’s always fun to be trying something new. I think it’s pretty amazing to see those colors blend as they twist. I can see how additctive it could become once I get the hang of it!
