Catching Up

Oh dear, time has been flying lately. Time to catch up on what my ongoing and upcoming projects are. I feel the need for a reality check. I suspect I may have unrealistic expectations…

On the Needles
1. Wedding Afghan for Nathaniel: 75% done, need to finish by 3/12
2. Peace Fleece Everyday Cardigan for me: 65% done
3. Black Lacy Stole: 20% done, need to finish by 5/8
4. Cable-Eight Tank: 10% done, need to finish by 5/8

Sewing Projects:
1. Sundress for me: need to finish by 3/12
2. Amy Butler purse for Mom: need to finish by 4/25
3. Amy Butler purse for me: need to finish by 5/8
4. One or two skirts for me: need to finish by 5/8

Okay, so that doesn’t look so bad to me, after all. BUT I need to get a move on to finish up my March projects in time for my bro’s wedding. And I don’t want to dawdle too much on those 5/8 projects that I want to have done before our vacation. I’m tempted to put the Everyday Cardigan aside… but I’m getting so close to the finish line, and it’ll be too warm to wear it for much longer. The Lacy Stole is probably the biggest challenge, simply because I have to really concentrate while working on it (not a good candidate for TV knitting).

I’m sure this post would be a heck of a lot more interesting with pictures, so look for some of those coming soon!

I hope you’ll post pics of the Amy Butler purses when you get them done. I have several of her patterns that I’m working on - I love the patterns *and* her fabric ;)
