Wait… that’s not a Christmas craft!
I’m back - whew! Word Press wasn’t recognizing my login password for a while there, but now we’re friends again so I can post some more.
Klaralund is done!

After reading some online erratta notes about how the sizing was smaller than what’s listed in the pattern book, I cast on an additional 4 stitches for each piece and increased everything proportionally from there. I also added some short-row shaping on the front piece to give myself a bit more room in the bust.
I like how it turned out and she’s very comfortable to wear. However, if I were going to make this sweater again (and I totally would love to try it in a solid-colored summery cotton), I’d probably increase the size a bit more and maybe add an inch in length — just to give it more drape.
I used Noro Silk Garden, color #82. What gorgeous yarn! I loved watching the colors change, and I really like the combination of a rather fuzzy rustic wool along with the sheen of the silk. Watch out though — it breaks easily, especially while seaming!
So, now it’s back to Christmas gift crafts… really!
