Sweater Progress
Ta da! A completed back piece for Kate’s “Stevie” sweater from the Rowan Cork Collection.
I am having so much fun with the cables. Strangely, it’s maintaining the ribbing that’s been the biggest challenge (note the hiccups here and there on this piece). Once I charted out the cable pattern onto graph paper, it became pretty easy to keep track of things and not get lost.
So this makes one sleeve and the back down. I’ll probaby work on the second sleeve next and then finish up with the front piece.
In other news, my enabler husband hooked up my old PC on a card table in the basement for the sole purpose of being able to play The Sims 2. I had been steeling myself to hold out for a Mac version (the preferred computer system in our house) — but Kate decided to spoil me and get me set up right now. Yippee!

Your sweater looks so good! I’ve only just scratched the surface of the cabling, but I’m already excited, especially after seeing how great yours looks!

It’s gorgeous. It’s aready my favorite sweater and it’s not even complete. Thank you.
BTW - your new video card should arrive tomorrow so the Sims 2 should be quite a bit faster…

The detail on that sweater is beautiful and quite different from anything else that I have seen. Was it complicated?
