Sunny Days
Not a lot of knitting news worth blogging about. My mission is just to finish the second sleeve for First Blush by Thursday, which is my last class at the knitting shop. I really should have had sleeves done by the last class — because it seems like a lot to cover all of the finishing steps in one class. But, ah well. I was too easily distracted by other small projects along the way. You know how that goes! Actually, I think I can handle most of the assembly okay on my own, but creating the rollneck collar is a mystery. So, I’m looking forward to having that explained!
In the meantime, while I’m knitting my sleeve, you all should go out and see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Then go see it again. It’s that good. A great idea for a story that’s original and a bit bizarre (no surprise there, coming from the mind of Charlie Kauffman, right?) — but at the same time it’s an honest and worthwhile story about relationships and what really makes them last. I found it completely mesmerizing, and I can’t wait to see it again!

I’m giving it a four-muffin rating (which is the highest possible score in the new muffin rating scale that I just invented). Check out www.lacunainc.com for a clever introduction to the movie.

I wonder if the lack of knitting has to do with nicer weather? I know I spent most of my weekend wandering around outside instead of at home with the yarn…
I can’t wait to see that movie–I hope I’ll be able to this weekend. Thanks for the good review!
