Off to class I go to figure out how to put all these sweater parts together! I finished the second sleeve last night, just in the nick of time. Nevermind that I was off on the placement of the stripe — doh! Oh, well. Kate assures me that asymmetry can be a desirable quality.

In addition to my newfound knitting obsession, I’ve also started obsessing over creating a vegetable garden for the backyard this year. Last spring was really hectic with wedding planning and moving into the new house (we closed on the house exactly one year ago today!), so we didn’t bother to have a real garden. I’m determined to try my best to grow some veggies this year! Here are my baby seedlings (herbs and flowers) that have been getting a head start in the basement:
