So Far, So Good

I’ve been so excited about my sweater project that I’ve been spending all kinds of time on the couch, working away at it. I’m not the world’s quickest knitter, but I think I’ve made decent progress over the past few days.

This is what I have so far for the back piece. My next class isn’t until February 5, and my goal is just to have the back finished by then. I’m really pleased with how it’s coming along. I’m knitting with double strands, but even so, it’s been really easy to see the stitches and keep everything nice and neat (compared to the bumpy Homespun yarn I used for my blue scarf).

It’s snowing buckets outside right now… I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a snow day or at least a delayed start at work tomorrow. I’ve been enjoying my hibernation mode this weekend, and I would love to keep it going for another day!

Hibernation is good for progress, isn’t it? I’m sure you’ll have the back done by your next class. It’s looking great already!

And your dad’s scarf turned out well too.
