I came across my poor, neglected Sophie again the other day while cleaning up. It’s high time I fixed her sideways handles so that she can get out and see the world.

To re-cap, here’s the situation:

Everything’s peachy, except that I wasn’t paying attention and attched the handles across the width of the bag instead of lengthwise. I’ve been pondering how best to fix the situation (pre- vs. post-felting).

Carolyn wisely says: “i think i’d just undo them now, cast off the stitches, then pick up stitches in the right places to do handles. then felt.”

And I think I agree. I’m making it my mission to have a completed bag to show before the weekend it through!
