Sick Day

My first sick day of 2004. Ugh. I’m pretty wimpy, so it’s not like I’m on death’s door or anything — but I have been feeling crummy all day. Especially during the night. I didn’t get much sleep and woke up feeling green, so I spent most of the day sleeping.

I woke up with a burst of energy around noon and cut out some pretty fleece scraps to make mittens. In my fuzzy state of mind, I fear I have cut out two left-hand pieces… so I’ll have to check that out and see what can be done. Unfortunately, I don’t have much leftover material to play with.

Just when I’d gotten rid of the yuckies, I started to get a nasty headache, so I retreated back to bed and have spent the rest of the afternoon snoozing and reading. Now that the day is winding down, but I’m feeling better again. So, I pasted the last of my Christmas letters into my special new scrapbook album that I’m dedicating for holiday photos and letters. Isn’t it cute?

You are very crafty with fleece! I like your site — the name made me want to come visit! I’ve been knitting since October, so I’m new, too. Those little kits are a great way to start. Keep us posted on your scarf’s progress — it’s looking good!
