Thank you, Kristin (of Spinning Athena, for being such an awesome secret pal these past months! Here’s the grand finale that I received yesterday. The yarn is Cascade Lana D’Oror in a hot, hot pink color (not red, as it may appear in this picture) — it’s wonderful! I’ve been drawn to these super-saturated hot pastels lately. What to make? I feel giddy with all the possibilities!

Equally cool, I also got a personalized knitting notebook covered with inspiring knitting images, a great little wall hanging, frame, and some cute stitch markers. Wow!

I had the pleasure of sending secret packages to Miriram (Hi, Miriam!) who lives in Virginia. She doesn’t have a blog right now (but you’re going to start one soon, right???), so it felt extra-special to have the opportunity to get to know her a little bit through this event. Miriam got sneaky herself and sent me a lovely handmade bracelet and other goodies — before she even knew who I was! I’m so spoiled.
