Dad’s birthday scarf is finished! And after a little trial and error, I managed to get it to lay more or less flat. I was reluctant to use an iron to steam it for fear of melting the acrylic yarn. But I took the chance after letting it air-dry didn’t seem to be making much of a difference. So, I steamed it on low heat through a towel, and all seems to be well.

Can’t wait to give it to him tomorrow! I didn’t specifically intend for it to be a gift, but the timing worked out that way and I think he’ll like it.
