Spare Bedroom Makeover

Wednesday, June 30th, 2004

The paint fest in the spare room is complete (well, you know, mostly). Still a few finishing touches and touch-ups left to go — but the room has shed it’s former pepto-bismol hue in favor of a new set of purple stripes!

Too bad these photos don’t give you a better view of the groovy […]

Painting in Progress

Monday, June 28th, 2004

Many thanks to all of you who gave some ribbing tips. I still don’t quite have the hang of it, but then again I haven’t really given it a concentrated effort.

Haven’t made your own personalized icon yet? C’mon… everybody’s doing it.

Secrets Revealed!

Friday, June 4th, 2004

Thank you, Kristin (of Spinning Athena, for being such an awesome secret pal these past months! Here’s the grand finale that I received yesterday. The yarn is Cascade Lana D’Oror in a hot, hot pink color (not red, as it may appear in this picture) — it’s wonderful! I’ve been drawn to these super-saturated hot […]

Of the squirrel kind!

I met this cute little guy in our backyard the other day, and he was as friendly as could be. If I made my best impression of squirrel chattering noises at him and held out my hand, he would actually approach to see what I had to offer. I stalked him […]
