One tiny fleece jacket done, one more to finish.

I could have finished the second jacket tonight, but I changed gears and made a couple of belts instead. I am having a lot of fun with fleece. I picked up a few more small pieces from the remnant bin today. Sometime after Christmas, I want to come back to it and try making a hat and mittens.

Our kitchen just improved by leaps and bounds over the weekend! I’ll be sure to post a picture soon. We put together a big spice rack from Ikea, which freed up some very necessary extra space in a couple of cabinets. We still have doubles of a lot of spices — so now our kitchen wall looks a bit like the spice aisle of the grocery store. Not that I mind! AND, Kate got a burst of creativitiy and installed some extra lighting — lights above the sink and inside the two biggest cabinets. The coolest part is that the lights have a touch-dimmer that works by tapping one of the cabinet hinges. I love it!
